Our art class provides a unique opportunity for our students catering to our students with varying disabilities. We use a creative and therapeutic experience using sensory-rich materials. Students explore a variety of textures, colors, and tools. This includes clay, foam paint, fabric scraps, textured brushes, and scented markers to support self-expression and sensory regulation. The hands-on activities encourage fine-motor development, improved tactile tolerance, and offered opportunities for independent creativity. The sensory components helped promote calmness, focus, and enjoyment, allowing each student to experience success while creating unique artwork.
